Hi, first time builder here. My components are listed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bQj68Q (I also have a Western Digital HDD and two Seagate HDDs installed, but they're not connected).
My problem is that I've put everything together, I turn it on, and it doesn't display anything. And before everything, yes, the HDMI cable is plugged into the GPU, not the motherboard. The motherboard displays LEDs for "boot" and "VGA". It also usually booted down after a few minutes after I'd turn it on. After a bit of despair, I decided to leave it for tomorrow.
Today, I've done what my friend suggested and re-seated the GPU. While I was doing that, I re-seated most of the other big stuff as well (air cooler, RAM, GPU, VGA cables (both in the PSU and GPU ends), and motherboard 24-pin cable. I tried booting without the GPU installed and successfully got to the BIOS (pic related is what it displays). My friend then suggested putting my old GPU (RTX 2060) into my new computer. Still didn't display anything. I think it's better than yesterday, though, because after a few seconds, the LEDs go off. For reference, the lights on the Hellhound GPU light up (and turn off with the little switch) and the fans spin when starting up, but turn off after a few seconds (I assume, because card isn't doing much).
My friend thinks the motherboard might need to be RMA'd, but I feel like it might be one of the cables or even my monitor itself. Is there anything else I could test to check things? Also, the motherboard is on version 3.06 and the latest is 3.10, but it says the earliest version needed for this CPU is 1.17, so I figure that's fine.
I'm sorry if I'm not providing any crucial information, if there's anything I'm missing, please ask. Also, my friend suggested testing the new GPU in my current computer, but that's a task for tomorrow, since I'd need to remove the hard drive cage just to fit it in. Please and thank you for any help with my issue!
