New pc No display! Please help

I have built my first pc today with the help of my older brother that has alot of experience and after looking on google, through manuals, youtube vids ect we can't find anything we've done wrong and tbh it's upsetting as it's a birthday gift.

Need help please, I can give any information needed but i really need to fix it.

Apon the first switch on everything turned on cpu, gpu all hardware, fans ect ect But nothing comes up, I've tried different connections and displays such as different monitors and a tv but still nothing

how do you know everything turns on? are there any beeps when booting?

Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition CPU (G3258) on that Asus H81M-PLUS you need to have ver.2001 or newer bios. you may have old bios as that MB came out in mid 2013

yrs there are bleeps and all fans come on

you will need to get a Intel Celeron G1820 Haswell Dual-Core 2.7GHz LGA 1150 chip install it then update bios to the latest

If you connect the monitor to the GPU and still get mem,cpu beeps its the bios on that cpu

Keep it connected to the GPU, not motherboard. That is how it should be. You need to update the BIOS.

YOu need to borrow a CPU. IF you live new a PC shop, they might be able to do it for you using one of their CPUs.
