Currently an i5-3470 @ 3.20GHz

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.
16GB RAM
1TB hard drive

That would limit you to another CPU in the Ivy Bridge line.

There are obviously i7's in that line. But that are near 8 years old now.
You'd see a performance increase, but nothing spectacular.
