I've got an older hp pav. a6130. Had a older gpu nvidia 9500gt evga 1g Installed a new psu because the stock is a 250w I got a Cool max I-400 400w psu for almost nothing. I installed both and whenever under load the pc shuts down. Games, Furmark, Intel burn test all within seconds of starting shut down my pc like the gov. while the gpu is in. When I take gpu out I can run the tests the games(low fps) without a shut down. I've done memtests 1 card at a time to try and find a problem elsewhere but it seems like it's either the psu or the gpu causing the issue and i'm at odds as to how find out which one is causing my issue. I'd normally just be like it's the gpu but why would intel burn test a test that isolates cpu load cause the shut down if it wasn't a psu problem.
Also Thought maybe I was having temp. issues but I got hwmonitor to make sure that wasn't an issue.
