[SOLVED] New SSD Problem

So here it goes, I have had a Seagate barracuda 1tb hdd for 3 years in my system. It has my windows 10 installed on it. Well I decided that it was time to finally put an ssd in my rig, so I went out and bought the Samsung 970 evo plus. So I installed the 970 and turned my pc on and it went straight to BIOS. Well, I went to the boot tab to select my barracuda hdd to boot but that option is no where to be found. Instead in its place is the evo ssd with no OS on it. No matter what I try, I can not for the life of me get my hdd to come back as a booting option. Some help would be much so appreciated!

which m.2 slot did you use? top or bottom?

I used the bottom M.2. 3 sticks of 8gb on the ram all the same brand and gigahertz.

When the M.2_2 Socket 3 is populated , SATA6G_5/6 ports will be disabled.

Oh ok so just move it to the top 4.0. I’ll see if that works!

If it doesn't there are a number of cheap usb adapters out there designed for mirroring over laptop drives. It isn't ideal but in cases where you cannot plug both into native bus at the same time they can be a lifesaver.
