We actually
do have a Solved thread prefix, but it wasn't applied retroactively (nor was Question or Discussion). You can see one on this thread:
https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/quick-compatibility-question-surround-memory.3448425/
You can collapse either or both sidebars. If you click on the hamburger menu next to the TH logo it will collapse the left sidebar, and the three dots in the top right under the Alerts link will collapse the right sidebar. You can collapse them by default via your profile preferences here:

I was only referring to Unanswered threads actually. I only used the
[Solved!] tag as an example.
Thanks so much for the heads up on how to collapse the right side. I especially like that you can set it that way in your preferences. The thread and font size is almost perfect for me now even with the left side open to click on the Unanswered filter. I'm thinking if they tweak some boldness into the faint fonts with theme options, it will be plenty good enough though.
BTW, I hadn't noticed before when you go to your desired forum subheading (PC Gaming for instance), when you click on the Unanswered filter, it shows unanswered threads for ALL sub forums. Is there a way to get the Unanswered filter to show only the unanswered threads of the sub forum you're on when you click it?
If not this is a real nuisance and makes it not worth even bothering with the Unanswered filter. Also, the past forum always showed new responses of threads you're subscribed to in the upper right. Will this new forum eventually have that feature?
One last thing, I just noticed the 119 videos of my two video tutorials I submitted no longer show as embedded videos. There's just the video URL in tags, but a "Disenchanted" emoticon as the first part of the URL. So it seems your new emoticon code is conflicting with URL links.
Still more (didn't want to double post). I noticed preference settings on fonts and pane options do not stay enabled even though they show they still are in preference settings. I tried large fonts and instead it bolded them, which is fine as I found it was more the lack of boldness than font size. It just won't stay that way. Also, I'd set the right pane to collapse as I said above, but now it's back to showing.
