Hello! I just got a new m.2 SSD and want to move windows onto this SSD. While reinstalling windows is not the struggle, keeping all the apps are. I am able to clone the old SSD onto the new one, but none of the icons appear. How do I get all of the old apps (Spotify/Discord/Chrome) back onto there without redownloading? Furthermore, the hard drive is still plugged in with all of my games. However, on my new fresh windows, none of the games appear on my screen. Is there a simple way of doing this or do I need to redownload everything?

Solution
A clone is a FULL copy of whatever is on the old drive to the new.
A clean install will require reinstallation of all your applications.

One or the other.

Some details, please.
What size/make/model is the new SSD?
How much space is consumed on the C partition on the existing drive?
What OS?
How 'old' is this install?
Does everything work properly?

doesn't sound like you clone it.

game from where? steam you can change the directory
I cloned it. All of the files were exactly the same. And all the games are saved onto a separate internal hard drive but on the fresh install of windows, none of the icons appear and I don't know how to access the games.
