Ok, I got 800Mhz Athlon (already overclocked to 856Mhz) with ASUS VIA A7V KT133 and I need to know is ther any chnces that I can overclock my processor to 1Ghz? Do I need to change voltage? Is it dangeraus? Do I need more fans? Where can I get those fans?

read the how to over clock with the asus a7v

Just a hint Tom’s hardware does not point this out very well but you need to close you L1 bridges and that’s it don’t worry about the bridges, use a pencil

if you close the L1 bridges, you should be able to hit 1gig ro at least get close to it. Have you tried running the 133MHz bus on it?

he's got the kt133 chipset, not the 133a, so he won't be going any higher than ~110 fsb.

Your best bet is to unlock the multiplier (i don't know if you already did) and then bump the voltage and see how high you can raise the multiplier.

i'd set the fsb to 100 while doing this btw (chip speed, not ram speed)

sorry about that, thought he said A7V133. Jojo is right. You will be lucky to get 110 out of the bus, but I would strongly suggest setting the FSB to whatever the max stable speed is.

You should be able to get to 1gig (or close). Close the L1 bridges (see the how to on Tom's pages) and put the Voltage up to 1.85 or so.
