Hi, my kids pc(who is a FPS hungry child at the age of11) has an Intel Celeron G3900 CPU,,, 8 gb ram and a Geforce GT 710 GPU. 450 w PSU*,,windows 10 home......
IF I replace the GPU with a AMD radeon RX 570 4 gb, which i got for free cause it was used, will it work? will all be ok??

Solution
++++ 450w psu / motherboard MSI H110M PRO-VH / cpu Intel Celeron G3900
That motherboard can support up to an i7-7700k with nothing more than a BIOS update. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H110M-PRO-VH#support-cpu The PSU is a complete unknown so my guess is that it is a low quality. To get the most FPS out of that system you will need a new PSU & CPU. Here are a couple idea starting with the top end and going more budget after that.

There are a couple of things going against you. First we don't know if the PSU is any good and if it has the right connectors. Secondly that CPU is very weak and will be a hindrance on faster GPUs. Here is an example of what I mean: https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/2467?vs=2258 When you see the gaming benchmarks they are with a GTX 1080 which is faster than the RX 570, but the idea is still the same. The 9700K is used as a reference for what would not hinder the GPU.

------so if i get a better psu all should be ok???---------------

What PSU is in the system right now? If there is a decent PSU in there right now it might work. That said you are still going to be VERY CPU limited. Do you know what motherboard you have? It might be possible to upgrade the CPU as well which will help a lot for any newer GPU.

These can be mixed and matched, however, for the extra $25 the EVGA G3 is a MUCH better buy on the PSU. It has higher efficiency & build quality, as well as a 10 year warranty vs 5 year. However, the end result is the same in that these CPUs will be able to drive that RX 570 GPU correctly.

***great, ty any idea for even more budget ***

Well, first thing's first, knowing the details of the PSU is important - if you can tell us the brand and EXACT model number, that would be helpful. A photo of the power specs label from it would definitely be far more helpful.

While the existing CPU will hold things back, the upgraded GPU will definitely be an imrprovement.

As @King_V said, if we can get a photo of the PSU that will help determine if the PSU is OK or not. Here is the absolute cheapest recommendation for PSU & CPU. The CPU will be far better that what is currently in the system and you might be able to find similar used on ebay for less money.

This PSU is as low as I can personally recommend for that PSU since it has 1 6x2pin adapter which your GPU will need.
