Nivida geforce GT 430 question

Hi there
I have a slim line pc (hp s5713w )
It currently has:
AMD athlon X2 240 (2.8Ghz)
4GB DDR3 Ram
and a HORRIBLE integrated intel graphics.
My questions are will this graphics card work on my 220w psu?
and will i be able to play newer games with my current setup with this card?

Hello,

Your Power supply is woefully inadequate for any GPU. As well as the rest of your system.

No the 430 is basicly for Media PC's and surfing the internet even the 450 would not be that great. The 450 would start to let you play games but would be the lowest in this seiries of cards i would consider.

Ok cool so with the GT 430 i can run new-ish games on med-low settings?

Also do the different brands of the same graphics card make a difference?

I only have about 80$ for a card
