So, I have quite an old motherboard in my secondary pc. Due to this, the audio is not working as only Digital Audio (S/Pdif) is my only playback option. I think the audio driver of my motherboard is missing. I have attached a gaming headphone to the pc and no audio can be heard from it but the microphone picks up the audio on the recording device. There are no official drivers available online. So can someone help me to figure out what can be done to solve this problem?

The motherboard model is as follow: GM45+ICH9+775 Series from some Lord Electronics

Solution
Install Realtek High Definition drivers. you might need to open the case and find the chip to see which chip you have in order to get the correct ones if that doesn't work.
