I recently got infected with that stupid 2012 security virus and had to reformat myself out of it. Fresh install of Win 7 ultimate and I did fine restarting with all my windows updates. I restarted after installing security essentials and it won't load the bios. I pulled the battery to reset and once I did it worked just fine, until the next time it restarted and the same thing happened. I'm trying the reset again to see if it works again, and it seems oddly coincidental to me that the mobo would go out just after I had to deal with all that hdd crap....any ideas?
