Hi,

I recently bought a CSR Bluetooth 4.0 adapter for my Windows 10 PC, I plugged it in, installed the drivers from the DVD and it seems to work fine, except one thing, in Windows 10 settings, you can pair bluetooth from there, but I get this when I try to pair, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a1w-PTvUZiMMtd-k-YhxCkwFXNRmA4pK/view?usp=sharing

Why does this happen, the only way I can pair is from the CSR Bluetooth tray icon, which takes me to a Windows 7 style screen. Note: The drivers were from 2012, before Windows 10, even though it supports Windows 10, I searched for a Cambridge Silicon Radio company and its drivers but could not find anything. I also tried Windows Update, no results, could it be a driver issue?

Thanks,
Haris

P.S: Sorry if I posted in the wrong section, I don't know where to put this.

It appears the CSR chip is made by Qualcomm - https://www.qualcomm.com/products/csr8510
USB 2.
its because the dongle only has win 7 & 8 drivers.
you can try this but win 10 has driver signature enforcement turned on now and if the driver wasn't sent to Microsoft for testing and signing, win 10 won't run it. Even if you install it - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...ndows-10/7a589244-c539-4a0e-be59-1ee9d9273430

You better off finding a USB 3 dongle if you can as all the USB 2 ones are getting too old and are built for win 7/8. Many lie and say they work on win 10, but you got better chances if its usb 3 (type c would even make it more likely)
