no boot from cd

sorry, didnt know where to put this, being that it could be a problem with anything.
Im trying to format my system, i set the boot devices up properly, it says booting from cd, press any key to boot...
I press a key, then it just loads xp pro and brings me to login. I dont press a key, same thing. i set all 3 boot devices to cdrom , still same thing

Be sure your cd cable isn't backwards.

Are you using a usb keyboard?

en,if you use USB keyboard ,try PS/2 keyboard.

I used to have this same problem when I booted my W2k CD with BTC (piece of crap) CD-ROM drive. It kept spinning for a while but never boot to Windows Setup screen. Do you have another CD drive to try?

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
