[SOLVED] No boot

So my friend got new parts for his pc and he is getting a no boot.

specs
1080ti
ryzen 7 3700x
asus strix b450f
16gb ram
500w psu

He previously had a ryzen 5 2600 and updated the bios for the new cpu he installed

The GPU Needs 600 W PSU thats the recommended on 1080ti and His PSU is 500W so i would get PSU that can handle that GPU i do not know thats the reason why its not powering up but he turned his gaming comp into good one with the Upgrade

Thats not the point, the point is finding out why it wont boot. it will boot with a 500w

That could be the point he upgraded to more powerful CPU and with him using 500W PSU and recommended is 600W maybe the power is not letting it boot!. Anyway try cmos reset on your computer to remove any old settings from last cpu.

Done Bios Update And Cmos Reset and did not work, I would double check that he seated the CPU correctly and all cables are in correctly but other then that I still think its the PSU not providing enough Power!

when he turns the power suppy on, the pc powers on, and the usual booting lights dont come on

He added a 1080ti, and new ram and tested it working fine. His old cpu was the ryzen 52600, so he had to do a bios update to make it work with the new ryzen 7 3700x that he got. Its an EVGA 500w bronze. He has tested a lower wattage 1050ti with the new cpu to see if it was a power issue. He has reset the cmos and reseated all the connectors

So it still doesn't boot with the 1050Ti?

Change back to the 2600. If there's a display then, the bios most likely hasn't been updated properly. What was the procedure done to update?
