No Cool & Quiet with AMD Newcastle?

Hello,

German print magazin c't has tested the MSI K8N Neo Board and stated that
Cool and Quiet doesn't work on Athlon64 CPU's based on Newcastle core. (with
latest Bios rel. 1.4) That's strange for a big player in mainboard
manufacturer like MSI, isn't it?

Can anyone affirm that this is a real (known?) bug in all Bios releases till
today? Will MSI fix it?

I can affirm that the c't testers don't have a clue. As I type this my
Newcastle is running at 5X, 1.15V, fan at 1070 rpm. Board has 1.4 bios.
Stable at even lower voltages - 0.85V if you use Clockgen.
