Question No display output without 2 (unidentical) GPUs installed.

May 9, 2020
Let me give you an idea of whats going on first.

I have 2 GPUs installed one is a Radeon 5450 with NO displays connected to it and the other is a GTX1060 with my displays hooked up to it.

Without the Radeon plugged into one of the PCI-e slots I get no display output from the 1060.

The only reason I had the Radeon in was to see if i could use it to get into the bios because when i first built this PC i couldnt get a display signal out of the 1060, once i got the bios set up I Installed my 1060 and plugged in my display cords (with the Radeon still in) and everything worked fine.

When I wanted to remove the Radeon I failed to get a display output from the 1060, so i reinstalled it and lo and behold got a display signal...

What the hell is going on?
