[SOLVED] No image on new build, HELP

I just built my first system and I think I know what's wrong. I just need help, guidance, anything really. I'm not getting a picture from my PC. I used an APU because I can't splurge on a GPU right now. I know the MB supports 3rd gen ryzen with a bios update, but I can't update because I have no picture. Is my APU the issue?

Set up:
MB: GigabyteB450m DS3H
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3400g
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB
RAM: TridentZ neo DDR4-3600 8GBx2
PSU: Corsair CX450M
GPU: none

You need a compatible CPU to update BIOS.

Agree, you need a cpu compatible with the current BIOS to do the update first.
