I have built a computer but can't seem to get an input signal from the computer to the tv. I have an asus crosshair v formula z MB a FX 9590 CPU and a gtx asus dual 1070 with a 1000w PSU. Rig turns on and all the fans run and disks spin. There's a lot on my gpu saying it has power. I checked the hdmi cable. I tried another gpu and the rig wouldn't even turn on. Thoughts on how I can trouble shoot and find out what's actually wrong here?

how can I flash with the newest bios without seeing the screen?

Asus crosshair v formula is the best am3+ motherboard you can get.

smorizio might be onto something. I did read it was supposed to be supported without a bios update but might not be the case.

Your motherboard does have the ability to flash bios without a monitor.

Bios file:

Note; Have a Fat32 formatted usb stick, bios wont read ntfs. Extract bios file to it, no folders so motherboard doesn't have trouble reading the file. With the system turned off insert usb stick in the designated usb port and press the rog button as explained in the link.

No I got nothing from the crosshair v formula z. So I JUST switched out the motherboard today and here's what happened. Connected everything like you're supposed to and turned it on. Screen came on and asked me to press F2! I did so and got to the little set up page, and as I was scrolling down through the selections, it froze. I waited to make sure it really did freeze and then shut it off. I then waited 20 minutes to start again. Back to the same problem. Computer powers on, stays on, all the fans go, but again, no signal detected. The motherboard I switched to is an ASROCK 970A-g/3.1. I know it's not the best but hey it did more than the last one. If it was a temperature problem with the cpu or gpu the computer would just shut off by itself right? Before it froze it was reading the cpu and the ram correctly. I'm just even more stumped now. Other things it could be?
