Good Day need some help pls

I have internet in the apartment with a lot of people connected so i connected to it when i came from work. Then suddenly i clicked on another WiFi network and now I can't go back to the previous connection that I need which is 2.4gz/5ghz that I can use inside the room. It always says "connected to device can't provide internet " "internet no access ". Only the first time it allowed me to connect during midnight then this happens everyday i dont know the reason why it keep happening.

This appears as you have no control over the internet connection so this might be difficult to fix.

You really need to ensure you are connecting to the proper network. You in general would always use a very unique name and password combination.

Although someone might attempt it for bad reasons it is more common that someone has improperly configured a router. If for example you were to take a router out of the box and just set the wifi id and password but not connect it to any other network any device that connects via wifi would exhibit symptoms like you describe. The connection between your device and the router via wifi is good but that router has no connection to the internet.

You really should never attempt to connect to any network that you do not have control over. You never really know even if it function if the person who provides the network is doing something else with your data. This is why a lot of people still use VPN when the connect to networks in say a coffee shop.

In your case I would look carefully at the networks you can connect to. Depending on the device you can many times see both the network name you are attempting to connect to as well as a unique mac id of the router. So even if mulitple networks have the same name you should be able to force a connection to the router that works and ignore the ones that do not.

If using IOS…go to the wifi selection menu, select the blue circle of the network you’re connected to, and select “forget network”

Windows, select the network icon in the lower right taskbar, right click the wifi network you’re connected to, select forget.

Android, Select settings, network, network/wifi, click & hold the network you’re connected to, select forget.
