I have seen many videos on youtube on how to overclock cpu, the best option i found was through bios. But when i went into bios i checked each and every option but there was no option regarding that. After that i also tried to overclock through MSI afterburner but after installation when i run it all the options were fade.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW.
I want to change my computer to a gaming computer.
plzzz help!!!!!!!
laptop specs:-
intel 2.3ghz processor
6gb ram [2gb + 4gb(upgraded)]
intel hd graphics 3000 1gb graphic card
os- win10 pro build 10240 32bit planning to shift to 64 bit of the same

Solution
1. Your CPU may have a locked multiplier. Since it is a laptop, this is certain.
2. Your motherboard chipset does not support overclocking. Since it is a laptop, this is almost certain.
3. Your BIOS does not allow overclocking. Since this is a laptop, quite likely.

You cannot overclock that chip on that motherboard in that computer with that BIOS.
