My PC is 4 years old and today, when trying to boot it up, it didn't even started the POST. The PC is:
- Motherboard: Asus P5B
- CPU: Core 2 Duo E6420
- Memory: 2x1GB DDR2 667
- Graphic card: X1950PRO 256MB

I've read other posts in this forum, related to this problem, and I've followed these steps:
- Removed hard disk and DVD
- Removed 1 memory bank, exchange memory banks and remove all memory banks.
- Remove the graphic card
- Reset the CMOS RAM (removing the battery and moving the jumper cap for a while)
All these changes have no effect. There is not POST and no beep.

I'm afraid that the motherboard or the CPU is broken, but not sure at all. What do you think? Any hint or suggestion?

Thank you in advance

The fans are spinning. The led in the motherboard lights in green. And in the front case, when turning the PC on, one of the 2 leds lights, then off during a second, and then blinks.
I couldn't replace any component (apart from exchanging the memory banks). I've seen that the PSU fan is not spinning but I guess that's normal until it gets some temperature level (but I'm not sure). Do you think that the problem is in PSU? Even if the fans are spinning?
Thanks
