[SOLVED] No power when pressing power button, green mobo light

The motherboard light is green.

However when I press the power button absolutely no response- no boot, nothing apart from seeing the green led light beside 24pin

Any help is greatly appreciated

Intel core i5 2300 2.8ghz
Lms power 750w PSU

Also this is quite weird but when I pull and gently tug on a wire (front headers) pc lights up for a second then goes back off

I had covered the first steps.

CPU: 2300
PSU: LMS Power 750W
RAM: ?
Motherboard: ?
Storage drives: ?
GPU: ?

Have you covered everything in the guide completely including inspecting the CPU/Socket for bent pins?
Following that, my understanding is the PSU is very poor quality, so could well be a culprit. Presumably this is an old build that has suddenly stopped working? If so, what happened leading up to it?

GTx 960 gpu
Intel dq67ow mobo
8gb ram

Before this happended, there would be no signal to the monitor. I believe I turned it off a few times and then it happended

First I would remove the GPU, and plug your display cable directly into the motherboard integrated graphics and see if you get any difference first.

Well the system was running until I switched it off a couple of times. I did the paperclip test and the PSU is running. So what is the problem?
