No sound, please help

My Mother board is - Gigabyte 970a ud3p

And when i put the mother board disc in i installed all of it and got some VIA hd audio deck. When i plug my headphones in they are recognized because this will appear- http://puu.sh/azMk9/b2616e2a97.jpg
But i have no sound. These also show a problem-

What is going on? This is a new comptuer btw but earlier after the OS updates i could at least see a few devices and stuff like my mic, now i see nothing... Please help me get sound

Sorry, I stepped away from PC. I am out of thoughts. Somebody else jump in and see if they can help

Aight i went to component services then to windows audio properties i seen that the service status was at stopped, i started it, seen the audio thing in the corner go from a X to having bars i got excited went to youtube clicked a random video gg. goes back to stop

WHY!!>?!?!?!?!?!?!? Is my mobo faulty? If so will buying a new sound card be a way to fix the issue?
