[SOLVED] No sound problem on Msi h61m-p31/w8.

Hello,

Since that I purchased this motherboard second hand from a dutch site called Marktplaats. The Msi h61m-p31/w8 has no sound. I already tried other speakers/headphones. I also installed the audio drivers from: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/h61m-p31w8#down-driver&Win10 64 . I was planning to buy a dac usb adapter. Because if i connect my Logitech g pro x the sound works, but that is only when I use the dac adapter that came in the box. So what is the problem? Or what do i have to buy/do to fix it?

If you go to "Control Panel > Sound > Playback" are your speakers set as the default playback device?

Make sure to right click on one of your playback devices and check-mark "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".
You can also go to Device Manager and check "Audio inputs and outputs", plus "Sound video and game controllers". See what is listed and if there are any yellow warning signs.

I will check it soon, but i already baught this one: https://en.sharkoon.com/product/20492 . It also has 7.1 so it's perfect. Thanks for the help, if the SB1 doesn't fix it I will try your suggestions.

Update! The SB1 Has fixed my problem, thanks for the help.
