Hi, I have a problem that I can't solve, and it doesn't make any sense to me.
Hardware:
MotherBoard: JGINYUE H97-VH-PLUS
PSU: VH 650W
CPU: I5 4440
GPU: GTX 1660 SUPER
RAM: 8GB + 8GB
Storage: 500GB M.2 (boot), 1TB SSD, 500GB SSD
I have a PC that I was using and was going to give it to my siblings, so I had to tune it up so that it
worked perfectly. I formatted the computer, installed all the necessary drivers,
wiped the PC, and added a 500 GB hard drive. Before all this, the computer worked perfectly.
It started up relatively quickly and without any problems, but a while ago, when I used that computer,
it was already giving me strange video problems. When I disconnected the graphics card, it no longer displayed video.
Even without a graphics card, with integrated graphics, the display connected to the motherboard via HDMI.
I don't even know how I solved it at the time. All I did was disconnect and reconnect the graphics card and try again, and magically, it worked.
The thing is, now I had to disconnect the graphics card to clean it and put in the new drive, and
it happened again. When I tried to turn on the PC, it didn't give any video. I checked everything again.
And like before, I added an extra 8GB of RAM thinking this would cause problems, so I'll remove it.
When I turned it on, it automatically started up correctly with the integrated graphics. I thought it was working, so I connected the graphics card via DisplayPort again, and suddenly it wasn't working.
I removed the graphics card again to check if it would work with the integrated graphics again.
And it still wasn't working. At this point, I don't know what to do. I can't get it to work again. I've tried
turning off the power supply, removing the battery (BIOS), waiting about 10 minutes, and trying again.
But it hasn't worked. I have so-called "gaming" peripherals, and they have lights when they can be used, and when I try to turn on the computer, they don't show any lights and seem useless.
I completely rule out the possibility that it's the peripherals, since before, when I managed to get it to turn on, The computer lights up, and it's not a problem with that.
I think it's a motherboard issue, since everything seems to be working correctly.
Also, if I unplug the graphics card, it still doesn't work. Any answers would be helpful. Thanks for your attention.
