No weapon in MOHAA

My friend got the game the other day after playing it at my house. When he started to play he noticed he could not see his weapon !!! He gets a cross hair, and does get the scope view, but no weapon drawn !!! He has a 32 meg TNT2. Runs RTCW just fine. Anyone else have/no of this problem ?

Or maybe in the options you have the weapon turned off...

It did this with me when I was playing online on Omaha beach. It's never done it before but when I respawed you could see the hands as if eh was holding the gun and you could shoot and everything but no gun. You could see the shots hitting the floor aswell. When I changed weapons to pistol it didn't do anything but after dyeing and respawning it was fine.

Geforce 3 with 29.42 drivers

In options you can choose whether you see nothing, just the hands or the hands and the gun etc.

If all else fails, Go further

When you start the game bring down console (key under the ESC key will bring it down) and type: vid_restart

Put the console back up and ya gun will be there.
