noob at overclocking

Hey I just got a 5400+ Black addition dual core for my first build. It runs at 3.2 Ghz. What do you think is a reasonable speed, that will keep my CPU ok. Just to mention that i have a HUGE heatsink on my cpu so i dunno if that affects antyhing. Also my mobo has a cool feature that the cpu would reset to factory defaults if it shuts down due to overclocking to high!

3.2 is pretty good for that processor
just make sure its not running to hot
use the program SpeedFan to check temperatures (free program)
as long as your stable (testing w/ Prime95 or Orthos) for @ least 8 hrs. you should be good.

It would help to know the hardware you have
