Noob question

This is the first thing im installing on my pre-built rig. as a matter of fact it is actually my first time installing anything on a computer.

I bought a gtx 550 ti and it has a 6pin power plug that has two molex cables connected to it. should i plug both molex cables in or just one?

If you have a 6-pin pcie connector just plug it directly into the card

the thing is that there are two molex cables connected to the power plug that i am suppose to plug into the power supply and i dont know if i am suppose to plug one in or both.

Plug in the six pin power connector of the psu to the card instead of the molex...but if you don't have the power connector then you need to use both the molex.
