Not all RAM working?

I have 16GB ram installed in my PC, however it is currently showing 8gb. The main problem is that sometimes the full 16gb will work when i start up the PC, but other times only 8gb will work. It's completely random when the full amount will work or not but usually the full 16gb will work for a long while, then only 8gb will show up for a long while.

This issue is still happening, but now only 8gb is working when 16 gb is installed. Does anyone have an answer?

Do you have trident Z rgb? If so I would unplug the power cable plus any usb’s You have and remove the ram. reset the cmos by taking out the battery. Wait a few minutes and reinstall the ram. It’s what worked for me.
