Not dialing area code--shared fax

Okay, some places here are in the same area code but are
still considered long distance so you must dial the area
code. Other place, you must not dial the area code
because they are local. The problem is, any numbers
submitted to the shared fax that need the local area code
dialed, are not being dialed with the area code. I have
dialing rules turned on and in the shared fax console it
shows up as +1 (local area code) phone number but it
doesn't dial the area code. I have turned the sound on
the modem all the way up and I can hear that it is only
dialing 7 numbers. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks,
Travis

Can you use the combination of Area code + Prefixes to dial the number.

I figured it out. I have to dial the entire number
(1areacodenumber) in the space where the number is
supposed to go, with out using dialing rules. Thanks
