Not enough power?

My friend bought a Glaxy KFA2 9800GT video card a few months ago, along with an Antec Ecopower (I think) 500W Power supply to go with it. Worked fine on vista 32 bit. When he installed Windows 7 RC (32 Bit) it wouldn't display anything after the windows startup chime. Would this be the Power supply being too small or something? Or would it be lack of compatibility for the Windows 7 RC?

It's not the power supply. If it worked fine powering your hardware on Vista, there's no reason it cannot power your system on Win7. The problem lies elsewhere.

Windows 7 is basically Service Pack 3 for windows vista. The compatibility between these two Operating Systems are nearly the same. Ur Problem might be your Video Drivers.

Should I roll back to previous drivers then?

Check the Nvidia site for new drivers, do n't forget Win 7 is not yet released, so the drivers are still catching up.
As always, uninstall the old, delete the leftover folders after the restart and install the new.
