Hello,

PC specs:
i5 4460
16gb ram
asus 1060 6gb dual
corsair modular power supply 650w
Gigabyte motherboard Z97-D3H-CF
2 SSDs
2 1080p monitor (GPU) and 1 1050 monitor (Onboard). I'm using onboard because it doesn't heat up my GPU as much.
Corsair Mouse and Keyboard with RGB

The Problem:
I have a weird problem that comes and goes. Every now and then the PC doesn't post at all and when you press the power button again the PC turns off very quick. When you turn it on, all is fine. The problem has got worse, where now if I power on the PC (After a no post) the display post and slows windows logo on the main monitor (GPU), but then nothing and switches to output only to the onboard monitor. I have noticed that this happens when I haven't used the computer for a day but not sure if this is true.

What have I Tested:
Reinstall windows,
Memory test,
Power test but only with software (not hardware),
reset CMOS,
Check all plugs etc.

"Check all plugs" good.

But did that include reseating all cards, GPU, RAM, jumpers etc.?

What about the CMOS battery? Consider installing a new CMOS battery.

Once successfully booted, look in Windows' Reliability History/Manager. Windows may be capturing some related error code or warning.

Event Viewer may likewise provide a clue or two.

Another thought - how old is the PSU? May be nearing its' EOL (End of Life).

Hello and sorry for the really late reply.

I have reset everything i can see. Replaced the battery and nothing on the Reliability History or event viewer.
The PSU is a Corsair RM650. I would say its about 6 year old +.

I will let you know if anything happen again.

Finger cross :)
