Not sure what to do with my second hard drive so i can download things directly to it

Im trying to download games on a !TB WD blue but they are being downloaded to my SSD that i want to use for Windows

Usually, you can choose where the downloads are directed. In your internet browser, try going through your settings and change the default download location. If you're downloading things through Steam or Origin, you can do the same thing by changing the download location.

If worse comes to worst, you can always just move the download.

Open file explorer
Right click the Downloads folder
Navigate to the Location tab
Change it to a new folder on your big drive
It'll ask if you want to move all the contents - say yes
Wait for it to move stuff

Now all your downloads are diverted to the HDD

1)open it
2)Go to top right corner and select origin
3)go down to advanced and change the downloads and installers to your HDD

Steam and Origin - (as above) create multiple alternate install locations.
Browser downloads - see your browser settings

Well, if you are downloading games from steam
1)Open it
2)Go to top-right corner and click steam
3)Scroll down to settings
4)Go down to downloads
5)Click on Steam library folders and change it to your HDD

Does that drive show in File Explorer? If so,the Steam client should see it.
