[SOLVED] ntoskrnl.exe BSOD - Unsure What's Happening

I've had several crashes over the past 2 days. Computer freezes up, audio stutters, then the PC restarts. An actual BSOD isn't ever visible, but using BlueScreen Viewer (recommended by a friend), it's citing ntoskrnl.exe as the issue.

They've all seemed to occur while I've been running Spotify. I've tried uninstalling it and re-installing the app, still crashes my computer after using it for less than an hour or so.

I've updated all of my drivers to the best of my knowledge - still isn't fixing the issue.

Not sure what else to do, or how to do it. Should I update my BIOS? I have no experience doing so.

PC is a pre-built Sky Tech Legacy Mini (Ryzen 7 1700 8 Core 3.0 GHz, GeForce GTX 2070 8GB, 16 GB DDR4).

Motherboard: ASROCK B450M PRO4

WHEA error on 3rd March happened with 1 driver loaded... which makes it difficult to blame a driver.
Having said that, where did you get the drivers from that are installed? Have you run the Asrock App Shop on the PC as it will update drivers - https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450M Pro4/#Download

Only drivers running are from AMD so it makes me wonder. listing seems to short.

What software do you use to control RGB? is it ASRock Polychrome RGB as that comes with motherboard.
Can you look in System information and on the line under Processor, it should show BIOS Version/Date.
BIOS updates can help, need to see what you are on now.

You can only...
Tbh I have the same problem, the PC crashes when I use Spotify. In Event Viewer it shows kernel_power 41. I didnt launch my Spotify today and it's over 4 hours without crash. i will launch my spotify at the end of the day and see if it crashes. it started happening on 2nd march. how about you? when did your pc start to crash?

@NotWD Not sure what you're referring to exactly - the info under "Bug Check String"? Because there's nothing there for the 4 crashes I've had related to this.

Here's a screenshot from BSV:

Sometimes they don't show up for whatever reason but you have a bunch of WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERRORs (0x124 BCCode) and one MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS (BCCode 0x44) that directly blames the USB eXtensible Host Controller Interface driver (USBXHCI.sys).

This second bug check can be a little tricky to nail down, but given it blames a Windows core USB interface driver, it's very likely a USB device driver conflict or USB Selective Suspend messing with device power states.

WHEA errors tend to point at a failing device SOMEWHERE but without a driver being blamed it's hard to tell what it could be.

ZIP these dumps up (should be in C:\ for full dumps and C:\Windows\Minidump for small dumps), upload them to a service like Google Drive and post the link here. There'll be more information present in them for people with access to a debugger.

odd the rgb lighting software shows as a HID class device - it might be okay, just looks odd. Does it have a physical controller?

you seem to have too many keyboards there but its probably okay. My pc thinks I have 5 but only ever plugged on one.
Even though the Webcams drivers are from 2012, it should be okay.

I could blame Razer but thats too easy and might not be right (for a change). I will wait and see what dumps show.

BIOS info was not included in any of the dump files. This can sometimes mean an outdated BIOS is being used.

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

You can only update to BIOS version 3.50 on your CPU, as the newer versions have warnings not to install BIOS on Summit Ridge CPU based systems and that is what you have.

I've just updated my drivers via Device Manager. Also used Auslogics Driver Updater to detect anything that I've missed. Everything seems up to date.

I just installed Asrock App Shop - it isn't prompting me to update anything

AMD Cooler Master Wraith Prism is the app I've used to adjust the RGB, but I rarely ever use it as I don't change the RGB lights often. Was pre-installed on the machine when I got it.

My current BIOS version is P3.90. I updated it 2 days ago from 3.10. Guess I misread the warnings, but I haven't had any issues.

I've also since done another cleaning of my computer (found some hard to see dust around the CPU fan) and reset my ram sticks. I've been running the Spotify App the past 2 days and haven't had another crash yet. I'll continue to monitor it and report back if it happens again!
