Look at a complete nVidia Spec sheet <A HREF="http://www.3dgpu.com/nvidia_chipsets.htm" target="_new">here</A>.

Process: 0.12
Core Speed: 800 MHz
RAM Speed: 2 GHz

RAM Bandwidth: 35 GB/s
Min Ram: 64 MB
Max Ram: 256 MB
Ram Type: EDDR
Ram DAC: 400
Max resolution: 4096x3072 @32bpp (100Hz)
Max Colour: 64bpp @2048x2048 (100Hz)
Max Refresh Rate: 300Hz @2048x1536 (32bpp)

Rendering Capabilities:

10 GPixels/Sec (1 Texture)
20 GPixels/Sec (2 Texture)
80 GTexels/Sec

T&L:
4th Generation T&L
256 Hardware Lights

----------------------------------------

OK, I know this is quite possibly just a hoax. Especially the nVidia guy putting the "GeForce 6" at 500MHz. Can the nv30/DreamForce/GeForce 4/5 be 800MHz? Maybe a Super Ultra Pro version?

I reckon that line is a spoof, there's a lot of gaps in there and information that conflicts with info from other sources (for example TNT2 Pro clock shown as 166 should be 183). I'd rather see a spec sheet from nvidia.

Look at the size of that thing!

I think for the GeForce 4 it would be cool if, of course they increased their sheer power making it like twice or more faster than GeForce 3 just for sheer power, then added alot more features and enhanced the FSAA so it took virtually no hit on speed rendering, and added a processor so 32-bit took virtually no hit on rendering, and enhanced the T&L signicantly, and, this would add a ton of speed, use a system like Kyro's TBR (which is what makes it so fast) and if they did that, then they'd have all this power and speed, plus the TBR would make it way faster than ever. Now that would be awesome for their next card... which should be out at the end of this year if they hold to their development cycle I'd think.
Although I think 64 is probably enough RAM, it would be cool if their base model was 64 and then they had a higher 128 model for overkill.

I reckon this is a hoax. Where will they get 1 ns (at the slowest that is, they may even need 0.9ns) ram, and how much is it going to cost? And a 256 bit bus? That's gonna be expensive. 64 bit colour? There's no need for that at all. That's 2^64 = 18 446 744 073 709 551 616 different colours (or I guess if you're gonna go and have 16 bits of alpha and 48 bits of colour, that's still 281 474 976 710 656 colours)... 80 Gigatexels/sec? That's a huge leap from GF3... Sounds like NV40 to me...

Another computer wanted. Donations accepted. :^)

Sweet. But I still don't believe it.

Interesting... 3D GPU is a pretty reputable source. Still could be fake. I think i'll send this to the "The Register" and see what they think. You'll get credit.

Thanx about giving me the credit. I'm all for the evolution of technology and even I think this is a little too powerful to be true. If it is true, that is great.

As for the colour, people like John carmack have been pushing for it, at least at internal level. The speed of the chip and especially the ram sounds a bit carried away.

It would be brilliant if it is true though. We could be playing games with graphics like the final fantasy movie.
