That doesnt make any sense, the 470 isnt in competition with the 1050ti, it should wipe the floor with it.
If you consider a 1060(6gp) and a 480 generally equal. 1060 faster in dx11, 480 faster in dx12. Lets just call them equal rather then argue which would be better.
The 1050ti is 40% less shaders, and 19% lower clock speed = ~51% cut off the 1060(6gb).
The 470 is 11% less shaders and 5% less clock speed = ~15% cut off the 480(8gb)
Even if we didnt call the 1060 and 480 equal, and we called the 480 75% of a 1060(which i dont even think a diehard nvidia fanboy would go that low)....then the 470 shoudl still be about 20% faster then the 1050ti.
