NVIDIA GeFOrce 285GTX windows media player blue screen

Have installed an NVIDIA GeForce 285GTX on a DELL precision 670 workstation running Windows XP, if I try and open a movie file with Windows Media Player 10 the system blue screens, every other video application seems fine, any ideas what might cause this?

Download Windows media player 11 and check whether it goes blue screen or not

Installed WMP11 still the same, it will play sound files but if I try and open a video file it blue screens

Can you try with some games too ?
Also what card did you have before? did u have problems with that too ?

Have sent it in to repair shop along with the old graphics card, if anyone has had the same problem do let me know how you fixed it, thanks
