NVIDIA Geforce 960M running below a 660M

Hello,

i have a laptop Asus ROG 556VW
8GB Ram
GTX 960M 2GB Vram
i7-6700 HQ

i litterly can't play a game that requires a GTX 560

things i tried/done
All drivers up to date
windows 10 newest version (tried older versions to)
send the laptop to repair (warranty) (they fixed the problem but its happening again)
Clean the fan

iam really confused now i don't know what to do.

Let me put it this way a game thats supose to run 60fps like borderlands 2 is running very randomly like between 35-42 fps

PS: forgot the mention i have all my power settings to Maxium preformance and use NVIDIA card not intel
