Is it just me or is anyone else suspicious of the way that ATI and nVidia's GPUs are consistently always within a gnats cock of each other performance wise?
I find it hard to believe that 2 entirely separate companies with entirely different GPU architectures could always be so close without carefully managing it behind the scenes.
To me, it very much suggests that each company mut get early knowledge of the other's next-gen products, or at least collude to mutually agree what will be the next generation of cards performance. With such consistent patterns, it can't not be happening.
