NVidia or AMD chipset motherboard for phenom II X4

I am going to build a new PC.
Processor is Phenom II X4 980 BE
while searching for motherboards I found two chipset vendors , nvidia and AMD.
which one should I choose, Budget is less than $100 , want basic mobo for CAD softwares and some games
suggest me model no.

For the purposes you've stated, the motherboards chipset has little to no impact. Could you list features you want on the motherboard?
