NVIDIA SoundStorm

Does anybody know whether NVIDIA is planning to release a soundcard with the SoundStorm chipset? I think it has more than enough features and performance to make it a good product. Still, this is just an idea… please answer if you know anything about this so I can keep my money on hold instead of spending it on another sound card.

Probably no. SoundStorm is using the controller integrated in the MCP-T2 south bridge and this is one of the selling point of nForce2 chipset. Though the APU technology is a good feature but releasing a soundcard base on SoundStorm technology would be a bad idea. So just spend your cash to buy a decent 5.1 soundcard or better yet a 7.1!!!
