Nvidia Stream Requirements?

So, I have been saving money recently, and I have just enough for both a nvidia shield and a nvidia gtx 960 super clocked. If I use the Gtx 960 with my amd a8 6600k, will the Nvidia gamestream service work with my pc? Or do I have to waste extra for a New processor, which means a new motherboard?
