Question Nvme is not being detected in BIOS or in Windows, How do i fix it?

Just built my first PC, Everything is great except when i boot into bios my nvme drive isnt detected.

Pc specs: Ryzen 5 5600 Gigabyte b550m ds3h Kingston NV1 1tb m.2 nvme 8x2gb 3200mhz hyper fury ram Rx 6700xt

When u boot it up theres a red flash on the nvme so i think its connected?

I dont really have another pc to test it out on. I read that some ssds come in "blank" and thats why it can't be detected but I'm not sure.

Help is greatly appreciated.

If your NVMe is plugged into the slot closest to the CPU i would make sure your BIOS is fully up to date.

Does your nvme have an operating system installed on it? If you haven't installed Windows then yes, the nvme is still blank.

It is on the top slot, and yes my bios is fully up to date

I can't even install windows on it since it doesn't get detected 🙁

Sometimes it could be device not seated firmly in the socket.
Try re-seating it 3- 4 times and check again.
