Just wondering what you guys think about OCZ Premier Series Dual channel RAM (I'm thinking of getting 1Gb in dual channel for a system I will be buying soon)
Thanks!

That look like decent ram, no experience with it but OCZ is good suff.
Timmings are a bit consevative at Cl2.5.

So 2 question whats you platform, cpu/mobo and how much is that ram and whats your budget

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0

Here's the system I'm looking at:

---AMD Athlon64 3200+ (Venice core)
---OCZ 1GB PREMIER SERIES Dual Channel PC3200 CL2.5 RAM (2x512MB)
---DFI LanParty UT-nf4 Ultra-D
---Western Digital 200GB (8MB 7200rpm) SATA
---LiteOn SOHW - 1693S
---Sapphire Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI-express
---Thermaltake SVIKING VA4000BWS Case
---OCZ POWERSREAM 520 Watt Power Supply

I just got a quote for about $1328 CAD... I'm trying to keep the price as low as possible... this is an amazing price, the best I've found so far. I'm still deciding on whether or not to go wireless with my k/b and m/s and I still need a speaker system... so my estimate is around $1450 CAD... and my budget is around $1500 CAD

Where you get that quote from? I'm planning on going a little higher end than that, but looking at your components compared to the ones I'm planning, shouldn't be more than $600 more, and my quotes have been significantly higher.

Yeah... I got that quote from guntaiware.com as I've been emailing back and forth one of the sales guys... He gave me a system price on that one... and it's been about 30-60 dollars (canadian) cheaper than anywhere else I've found...He also said that if I pay cash (debit) he's give me an additional discount....pretty sweet huh... they don't have much listed on their site but email him with a quote and he'll give you a sweet deal.

Where should I be looking??? I'm not going to be overclocking right away... and probably not at all... but just in case I decide to what do you suggest instead???
Luke

Thanks for the site.

Just looked at it, and they just don't have the stuff I'm looking for. Dual-cores AMDs, not socket 939 mobos, and no 7800GTX's 🙁

Oh well. The search continues 😛

Yeah,... like I said... they don't have much on their site... but email them with the specs for what you're looking for and they'll get it for you... even the dual core cpus...

Thanks... I'm getting a quote with that RAM now... It might be a little too expensive for my budget though... but thanks anyways... if you have any other suggestions.. pleas letme know.
