Question Oh dear, my pc died and refuses to be resurrected: Advice sought

This question could be in any category I guess. As stated: I changed monitors a couple of times and then all of a sudden, death. My Win10 won't boot and the BIOS part doesn't detect any of the drives (even though they still are available via the prompt). If I reinstall the OS via a boot installation USB drive, it lets me format and install - but returns to the BIOS afterwards... without any sign of the drives. Regardless of whether I install on drive 1 or 2. Well, this sucks - and then on Christmas Eve. And I just wanted to play some Elden Ring, great. Hope anyone around can help me out, it's the weirdest thing.

Start by removing both existing disks and installing a single NEW 500GB or larger SSD. Install on that.
