To cut it short, I have a program which does not work properly when the display adapter, NVIDIA Quadro P2000 is enabled. When I go to device manager and disable it, the program works fine.

The question: Is it okay for me to keep it disabled all the time? Is it safe? Should I expect any adverse effects, short-term or long-term, if I do that?

OS: Windows 10 April 2018 1803 (but I may upgrade to October 2018 1809, so if the answers differ between the two, then please answer for both cases)

Why not just remove it?
It would be better to fix the problem, to find out why that program does not work and resolve it, perhaps turning off acceleration within that single program, if it has such options.
I made many other attempts at solving the issue, but hardly any had seemed to work like just disabling NVIDIA Quadro P2000. Uninstalling it also worked, but I felt that just disabling it would be less extreme than uninstalling it.
