Hey all, I have 3 CRT monitors and 5 old PC towers, all around 75 to 200 or so mhz. Just sold stuff thats been sitting around.

Is there any place that would buy these pieces? Only thing I can think of would be the metal of the towers at the junk yard.

Or is there somewhere else?

Thanks all!

You can keep small components like the cpu, ram and HDD if they work and sell them on ebay. There are probably some antique computer hobbyist who buys them. But I think you are right. Only scrap yard will recycle the bulk of it. I don't think 2nd hand computer shop will buy anything that can't install xp on it.

I was thinking more "I'll take it off of your hands", but sure, why not?

I'd give $20 for a working Win98 era PC, especially if it had an 2x AGP slot for my trusty old Voodoo 3 3000.

I have 3 computers on the shelf that ran WIN98.
WIN 98 system disks
WIN 98 Second Edition disks and upgrade to be able to use internet.
