Whoo! My first green lacquered plate!!

Public hell baal game, made by some mid 90's hammerdin, no one else
showed up, he left after the minions and left baal all to me!

Of course I don't have the amulet yet this ladder, but I can trade for
it easy enough if I really want to. : )

Nice finding. My most favorite item, in fact, along with the other 4
pieces. Your Zealot, Sorrow_Memory, is loaded with very pretty items,
I did not realize you had not yet found a Tal armor.

To give you an idea, I sold Tal ammy for 20 pgems each to AGD'ers,
25-40 to the general public. That price was probably too cheap since I
sold 27 ammies in a matter of hours, but I think you can try to buy one
for 30'ish pgems w/ some patience. I am quite sure making "20pgem 4
TalAmmy" will get you no bites, unless Lady Luck smiles upon you. I
was only selling at those prices because I already knew I was going to
quit, so to have something to pass on other AGD'ers, I use the pgems to
reroll GC's and sold the GC's for net worth of 11 Ist's equivalent in
Ist's, Mal's, Um's, and Pul's. In the end, I still "made money", less
than 2.5 Tal ammies per Ist!

While some people were / are having such incredible luck at finding
high runes, I found quite a bit of Tal ammies during my 7-month stint
at Diablo. The only high runes I ever found were Vex and Zod, thus
gave birth to that communal character showing off the sickest set
equipments I could think of - with others' ideas incorporated.

I'm still somewhat active. I skipped about a week about a week back
as I found some seriously uber good books to read. Also, I've picked
up a housemate, and he hasn't gotten himself a bed yet, so is sleeping
on the couch. Which is right by the desk with the computer. And half
the time he's still asleep when I get home, so I read a book or do
some washing then have a nap instead of playing some D2 before having
the nap before the afternoon shift of work. So I'm only getting
online around 6pm Aussie time, which is around 8am B.Net time at the
moment I think. That or 4am b.net time.

I was making that character to grief the griefers, maybe try out some
PvP, so I relaxed my relatively non-trading policy just for that
character. But yeah, actually "finding" items, there's probably
plenty I haven't gotten yet. Never seen Trangs hat, IK's armor, Nat's
Claw, Telling of Beads and all sorts of other stuff. Had an unid'ed
Azurewrath on my cursor in a public game, didn't have room in cube or
anywhere for it, didn't know for sure what it was, thought it was
probably just a lightsabre, so just dropped it while I looked to see
if I could make room in my cube for it. As pretty much expected,
someone else picked it up, and went "oooh azurewrath, that any good?".
Speaking of phase blades though, found a 5 socket one today in case I
find another couple of Lo's and want to make another grief after I
make a fortitude. ; )
And speaking of sockets, is it just me, or do all eth items get only 1
socket when using the cube recipe to put them in??

Its the armor to the Tal Rasha's set. Its a bit of a pain in the ass to
find.

Somehow i managed to get 2 in relatively short time, one from a bloke
next to Meph and one from Baal - yes, he can drop more than the usual
5400 gold and a tp scroll!

Oh..ok, not to brag as I save alot of what I find but I think I've got 4-5
of the armor, what's hard to find are the ammys and belts, sets are always
good for trading as some will part with some very good runes.

Are you sure you are thinking about the right set? Tal's belts is a dime a
dozen. The belt is only exceptional, while the armor is elite. The only
set belt that I've found is difficult to find is Trangs. Perhaps you were
thinking of that set, that armor is easier to find.

Yup. I just looked again. I've got 4 armor, 6 masks, 3 wands, 2 ammys, 2
belts and I might have a couple more wands on another mule. The masks seem
to come easier than the rest but I always have a hard time finding the belt
and ammy. One thing I've noticed is that alot of these set pieces seem to
pop up in cycles, I can go for 2-3 weeks without finding a particular item
and then all of a sudden I can find 2-3 pieces of a certain set item within
days of each other like Tal Rashas Mask, Trang Gloves and Trang Armor.
You're right about the Trang belt, that has been hard to find for me, what's
really been hard to find is IK armor, I have never found that one and had to
trade some good runes to get that piece for my barb.
