Hi guys.
I was using my new PC via displayport on motherboard (Z690-f strix) and sound card was working normally (Realtek audio console).
I did installed graphics card to motherboard, turned on the PC and noticed in lower right corner red X on sound.
Windows installed display drivers automatically, but still I don't see any device except nVidia High definiton audio.
I reinstalled audio drivers, no luck.
There is no even sound card in device manager and when lauching realtek audio console I get an error:
"Realtek Audio Console doesn't support for this machine.
But it was working normally prior to graphics card installation,
What happened,what to do?
So now even when I removed the graphics card, sound card is dead.
What coild possibly kill some electronic component on PCB around sound chip?
PC was off the current all the time when GPU installed, I even plugged off DP cable.

So obviously I would need a guy who is into electronics , but no such here.
I still can not believe what I did, I mean I did all possible safety precautions regarding electricity.
Well obviously I did not, somehow I did manage to fry the Mobo soundcard (chip, resistor, cap whatever...).

Nope, not even in USB devices, not showing audio with bootable live USB pen drives.
Well for sure dead sound card, and no point wasting time.
Is it repairable??
I will draw tomorrow a schematics what I did prior to installing graphics card that potentially could kill a MoBo.

So before installing the GPU, I wanted to connect one more fan to its fan controller, and by mistake, I connected the fan controller instead to fan header on controller I connected it to connector named MB Sync, and I manage to do that because connectors are the same.
Each connector on fan controller is proprietary.
I then turned on PC, the rgb on fans light for split second and fan spinned for split second.
Then I turned off the PC immediately because I thought something ain't okay.
I did this twice (powered on the PC).
No connectors were connected to MoBo not fans not fan controller because fans were getting power and RGB through controller.
Controller name is MS Impero P500.

So I ask you, could this be possible cause of damaging MoBo?

If you connected it exactly as shown it is unlikely, you only show a connection to sata power, this is to the psu. There is no connection to the motherboard.

I will never say never but it is highly unlikely.

It looks like you have connected it wrongly. The 6 pin connectors are for the fans, outputs. Motherboard synch looks like an input from the motherboard. Can you send a picture of that connection?

Is not important anymore my friend.
The damage can not be reversed.
I connected fan to MB Sync easily and probably connector is the same...I will picture it soon.
No connections have been made to MoBo via controller.
